At 6:30 last night, August 5, gunshots were heard in a central Missoula neighborhood.

According to Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh residents in the 1700 block of South 12th street reported seeing two silver, four-door vehicles pull into a neighboring driveway.

While the cars were in the driveway, a woman was heard asking for her stuff to be returned to her and a man was seen getting out of the second vehicle. The man is described as having black, shoulder-length hair.

After the man was out of the car, three to four shots were fired, but no one saw a gun. Two bullets hit a neighboring home, but no one appears to have been shot.

After the shooting, the two silver cars drove off and police are continuing to investigate.
