The non-profit group Sustainable Living Systems will hold their Annual 'Root Food Dinner, Work Party & Salsa Making Event this Saturday,
October 22nd, starting at 10A. The event is being held at the new Victor Community Garden, on 5th Avenue, just west of
Victor.
It all begins with the work party at 10A; help plant a native garden
and picnic area of native trees and bushes. Most of the plants are
being donated by Great Bear Restoration and the planting will be
directed by horticulturist Michelle Bradley from Great Bear - be sure
to bring gloves and a shovel. After planting enjoy local, organic, home cooked food by the SLS board!

The day wraps up with salsa making where they provide the ingredients,
you bring jars, a knife and cutting board. The cost for the entire day
is $10, children just $5 or to participate in the salsa making only $5
- donations will also be accepted. Please note dinner is free for all
