Pablo Shooting Under Investigation By Three Agencies

The Lake County Sheriff's Office, The Salish Kootenai  Tribal Police and the Montana Highway Patrol  are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Pablo on Monday afternoon.

The call came in to 9-1-1 at about 1:30 p.m.

The female victim sustained one gunshot wound and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Ronan, before being airlifted to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. A spokesman for the Montana Highway Patrol, who assisted in the investigation, said the shooting occurred in an alley outside a residence in Pablo.

The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle with two other individuals. Lake County Sheriff Don Bell told our news partners at NBC Montana that the shooter has been identified, but is not yet in custody.
