No One Hurt by Gas Explosion In Billings On Wednesday
In Billings, at 10:32 Wednesday morning, an explosion, initially suspected fueled by a gas leak, caused by a boulder falling off the rimrocks, rocked a neighborhood north of Rocky Mountain College. The explosion leveled the house of Columbus Mayor Gary Woldermann, who had maintained the house as a second residence for about 25 years. Rocky Mountain College head men’s basketball coach, Bill Dreikosen recounts what he saw.
An initial investigation has determined there's nothing suspicious about it at this time, and while a damage estimate isn't available yet, investigators expect the total amount of damage will easily exceed 1 million dollars.
