With eight informational panels and a plethora of info pamphlets, the new Stevensville Information Kiosk on the north end of Main Street is a valuable stop for tourists and others. The $12,000 project was funded with grants from the Montana Department of Commerce and the local Rapp Family Foundation. It provides current details and a bit of history on attractions in the Stevensville area and throughout the valley. The kiosk at Veterans Park, just north of the Stevensville Main Street Association office, is available 24/7. The adjacent Main Street office has person-to-person information during business house.

The final touch to the structure this week was a copper top (see photo below), representing the connection between the Bitterroot Valley and Butte's mining history. The grand opening Wednesday was also the day of the opening events for the 107th Creamery Picnic this weekend.
