Montana Unemployment Rate Stable at 5.2 Percent
Montana's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady at 5.2 percent in November.
The state Labor Department says that's down half a percentage point from November 2012 and is below the federal rate of 7 percent.
Labor Commissioner Pam Bucy says retailers hired more workers this holiday season than in past years, which suggests they were expecting stronger holiday sales.
