A man arrested last week and accused of stealing food, cigarettes and saxophones from downtown businesses is back in jail again.
Some of the best elk hunting in Montana is in the elkhorn mountains, so when a prescribed burn project to remove invasive plants in the area was opposed in court, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation fought back, and won.
After the announcement by the environmental protection agency on Tuesday rolling back what has been called federal overreach by former president Obama’s waters of the U.S. rule, Environment Montana issued a press release condemning the decision.
