Montana DPHHS reports the first death from the COVID 19 virus. The death was reported Thursday at about 8:30 p.m. and no other information was released.

Governor Steve Bullock announced a 'stay at home' order for Montanans that will go into effect at midnight on Saturday.

As of Thursday afternoon, there were 90 people in Montana with confirmed cases of coronavirus. Gallatin County leads the state with 38.
