On Thursday, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order to protect the free speech rights of all students on campuses across the country. A UM student, Taylor Powell,  was invited to attend.

An Arlee man was charged with felony strangulation and partner or family member assault in Missoula Justice Court on Thursday and held on $25,000 bond.

The Center for Public Integrity published a story this week about the continuing costs of cleaning up the pollution from a mine on the Fort Belknap Reservation.
