KAMIAH, Idaho (AP) — A 55-year-old Montana man has died in a rollover crash in northern Idaho.

The Idaho State Police said James R. Cummings of Fort Benton, Montana, was eastbound on state highway 64 near Kamiah when he failed to negotiate a left turn. His car went off the right shoulder of the road and rolled several times down a steep embankment, coming to rest on its roof at the bottom of the valley.

The ISP says the crash was discovered at about 6:30 a.m. Monday and it likely happened sometime the previous night.
