Missoula’s Dragon Hollow Will be Closed for a Bit This Weekend
Missoula's Dragon Hollow play area is always a beehive of activity. If you go on any day when the weather is decent you're sure to be part of a crowd of kids. I suppose the only bummer about a play area that is always getting used and abused is that every once in a while it needs a little TLC. And that's exactly what will be happening this weekend so you might want to keep it in mind if you had any plans of hitting Dragon Hollow on Saturday (5/14.)
It has to get all pretty for summer
Carousel volunteers and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will be rolling up their sleeves and using a little elbow grease to clean and repair Dragon Hollow as they prepare it for another summer of fun for both Missoulians and visitors. A press release has announced that the area will close at approximately 12:30 PM on Saturday for maintenance.
They picked a busy weekend to do it
The Carousel and Dragon Hollow want to get word of the temporary closure out to as many people as possible before the weekend as it looks to be a busy one with events that will bring plenty of people to the area. The University of Montana will hold its Spring 2022 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday and it will bring numerous families to town. And with the Clark Fork River Market open in the parking lot next to Dragon Hollow on Saturday, there will be families looking to use the services of the play area until it closes.

Carousel staff asks that everyone be respectful of volunteers and workers as they'll try to reopen Dragon Hollow as soon as work is completed.
