Missoula Valley Smoke From Idaho Controlled Burn

The Missoula County 9-1-1 Center says the smoke covering the Missoula Valley Sunday evening is from a controlled burn in Northern Idaho. Dispatchers say the prevailing westerly winds are carrying the smoke into the Missoula Valley. There's no word on the size of the burn or whether it may have burned out of control.

Once the fire is out, officials say the smoke in the Missoula valley should dissipate.
