Given the liberal utopia that is Missoula, this might come as quite the shock to some of you in the garden city: Missoula County is the most "unequal" county in the state. The city of Missoula is also the most "unequal" metro in the state.

According to a new report from the Economic Policy Institute:

The Missoula metro area is the most unequal metro area in Montana.
The top 1% make 30.8 times more than the bottom 99%.
Average income of the top 1%: $1,364,188.
Average income of the bottom 99%: $44,234.

Counties
Missoula County is the most unequal county in Montana.
The top 1% make 30.8 times more than the bottom 99%.
Average income of the top 1%: $1,364,188.
