Missoula Police Respond to Unresponsive Male, Nab Woman With A Warrant
On Thursday morning, Missoula Police were called to a residence in the 700 block of Monroe Street to the report of an unresponsive adult male. Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh has the details.
“They responded with medical personnel and did find a 61-year-old male who indeed appeared to be unresponsive,” said Welsh. “The suspicion was that he had overdosed on drugs. He was transported to the hospital. Also there was another couple, a 40-year-old male and 43-year-old female.”
According to Welsh, investigating officers learned that the female in the home had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
“Subsequent investigation revealed that drug activity had been going on and also that the female had an outstanding warrant for her arrest,” Welsh said. “Monica Salgado was transported to municipal court where she appeared on her two warrants. Matthew Brown was arrested for drug related offenses.”
The drugs found in the home were heroine and prescription pharmaceuticals. Welsh says the investigation is ongoing and that more charges may follow, but the medical care of the 61-year-old male is priority at this time. The man was conscious and did speak with officers when they visited him in the hospital.
