At around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon, someone called Missoula Police and reported that a woman was trespassing in the 4000 block of Highway 93 south. According to Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh, the incident took place in a parking lot in that area.

“The complainant indicated that this person had been told, at least two weeks ago, that she was not to return to this particular location,” Welsh said. “She was told that if she did return, she would be trespassing. That is what occurred yesterday. The officers arrived and made contact with 28-year-old Lyndsey Eide. She was placed under arrest for trespassing and for a local warrant. Subsequent investigation revealed that she was in possession of a substance that was later determined to be methamphetamine.”

Welsh says Eide is being held for felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs. She also faces two misdemeanor left charges and one charge of obstructing a peace officer.
