Celebrate a Delayed Mother’s Day in Missoula with Mom Prom

PSA for anyone reading this who hasn't gotten a card or bought a gift yet: Mother's Day is just over one week away!

Yes, Mother's Day is on Sunday, May 8th - which is a great time for moms to spend time with their families. Maybe they can all go for brunch or a family hike or take in a movie - whatever it is, that's usually what Mother's Day ends up consisting of.

But what if Mom wants to get away from it all and let loose for a bit? Well, that's where this event comes in...

Westside Theater in Missoula is Hosting The Mom Prom

What's the Mom Prom, you ask? Well, it's pretty much what it sounds like - a ladies night dance at the Westside Theater!

And although it's called the Mom Prom, you don't have to be a mom to attend - all ladies are welcome for a formal dance party. DJ Wizard Lizard will be on hand to keep you dancing to all the classics, plus there will be a cash bar, prizes and more.

Tickets are $28 in advance or $35 at the door, and will be available at Westside Theater's website. All proceeds benefit the Westside Theater, which is a nonprofit dance studio and performance space.

If you'd like to go to the Mom Prom, you should know that it's happening the weekend AFTER Mother's Day - specifically, on Saturday, May 14th, from 7 PM to 11 PM. So you'll have plenty of time to hang out with the family AND tear up the dance floor.
