Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On May 7, 2024, Missoula Police Department Officers were dispatched to the Walmart located at 4000 US-93 for a report of a male trespassing in the store. Dispatch advised the male was identified as 36-year-old Sergey Timofeyev.

On May 6, 2024, an officer spoke to Walmart employees who advised that they wanted Timofeyev permanently trespassed from all Walmarts based on a separate incident. The officer contacted Timofeyev and advised him he was trespassed from Walmart. He told Timofeyev that if he returned, he would be cited and/or arrested.

The officer responded to Walmart on May 7, 2024, and observed Timofeyev in the store. Then Timofeyev was arrested. During a search incident to arrest, the officer located a pipe that he recognized as a methamphetamine pipe based on his training and experience. The officer also located a small wrapping that contained a white crystal-like substance he recognized as methamphetamine.

Both items were found on Timofeyev’s person. While transporting Timofeyev to the Missoula County Detention Facility, Timofeyev threatened to “kick [the officer’s] a**.” The officer tested the white substance with TruNarc which resulted in a presumptive positive test for methamphetamine.
