I was having a conversation last week and someone mentioned how they thought the Missoula food and restaurant scene is underwhelming. They didn't think there was a great selection of quality places or food options around town. I've never claimed to be a foodie but I feel like we have a pretty good assortment to choose from depending on what type of meal you might be in the mood for. No matter what side you might take in that argument, there's no better week than next to get out and eat your way around Missoula.

A good time to try a new place downtown

Downtown Dine Local Week is happening at a bunch of different places around Missoula from January 24-30. There's a ton of great deals, offers, and savings as you support local businesses for the week. Here's how Missoula Downtown's website described the event:

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
