Missoula Couple Charged With Incest of 8 Year-old Boy and 4 Year-old Girl

A Missoula husband and wife were charged with incest Wednesday afternoon before Judge John Odlin after abuse of their two children, an 8-year-old boy and a 4 year-old girl came to light. KGVO News, acting on the request of the Missoula County Attorney’s office, is not making the names of the accused couple public, to protect the privacy of the children. The father is a 42 year old man, a registered sex offender, who was on probation for sexual intercourse without consent. He appeared via video from the Missoula County jail..and was placed on $50,000 bond. The 37 year-old mother appeared in court, and was released on her own recognizance. I spoke with Deputy County Attorney Jason Marks about the case. That interview is attached.

A preliminary hearing for the couple was scheduled for July 13^th. The two children have been placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.
