The 9-1-1 Center in downtown Missoula had to be evacuated for several hours on Sunday, because smoke from an inverter billowed into the center, forcing them to move the operation to the newly-finished back-up at the Missoula County Airport. I spoke with Director of Emergency Services Chris Lounsbury Sunday afternoon. That interview is attached.

Lounsbury says no one was injured and the facility itself was not damaged by the smoke. He says the facility was up and running again in its downtown location by about 3 Sunday afternoon.
