Man With Active Warrants Gets Caught With Meth in Missoula

On September 24, 2022, Missoula Police Department officers responded to a business in the 3200 block of North Reserve for a report of disorderly conduct. An officer responded and observed a vehicle with two occupants. Police Public Information Officer Lydia Arnold picks up the story. 

“On the scene, officers located two people in a vehicle associated with the 911 call,” Arnold said. “The officer contacted the individuals in the vehicle. Both occupants of the vehicle provided false names. The officer gave the male several attempts to provide an accurate name. The male refused and was taken into custody.” 

The male was asked for his social security number, which also did not provide a return. The male, later identified as 39-year-old Lucas One Horn, was arrested for obstructing.

“During the search incident to arrest, officers located needles and a substance that tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine on his person,” Arnold said. “The officer also located a wallet with several cards providing his identity to be Lucas One Horn. Additional needles were found in his wallet and on his person. This case is still under investigation with the Missoula Police Department Detective Division.”  

According to court documents, One Horn had two needles in his front left pocket and three needles in his front right pocket. The officer also discovered that One Horn had a $50,000 warrant from Lake County and a local $5,000 warrant. 

One Horn was transported to the Missoula County Detention Center. On September 26, 2022, One Horn made his initial appearance in Missoula Justice Court where his bail was set at $55,000 for his previous warrants. He is currently being charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
