Man in Butte Jail Dies, Autopsy Planned Friday
An inmate in the Butte jail has died.
Butte-Silver Bow Coroner Lee LaBreche tells The Montana Standard the 40-year-old man died Thursday afternoon. He says no foul play is suspected.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was started on the man at the jail before he was taken to a hospital.
The inmate's name and details of how he died weren't immediately released.
LaBreche says an autopsy and toxicology test will be conducted Friday.
