A Missoula man who ran over his twin brother with a van has been sentenced to 40 years in prison.  District Judge John Larson sentenced Alberto Guillen on Thursday, saying he's "never had a case where someone's ran over their own brother and left him to die." Guillen pleaded guilty in November to attempted mitigated deliberate homicide and failing to stop at the scene of an accident in which someone was hurt.

He was initially charged with attempted deliberate homicide.Prosecutors say Guillen and his brother Roberto were arguing July 30 and exchanged punches before Roberto rode off on his bicycle. Witnesses say Alberto Guillen threatened to kill his brother and then struck him with his van, dragging him underneath. Roberto Guillen was hospitalized in serious condition.
