Summer in Montana can be tough, especially if it one of those summers with lots of forest fires and a layer of smoke across Big Sky Country. Unfortunately, that is looking more likely by the day.
Taking a look at the Old Farmer's Almanac for summer and the forecast isn't one that will please most Montanans. It looks like the entire country could be in for a long hot summer, but let's focus here on the Treasure State, what is the Old Almanac predicting for us?
What's Montana's summer look like?
According to the book, we can expect hot and dry with above normal temperatures. For those who are curious, they Old Farmer's Almanac is also saying that early June and early and late July will be the peak season for heat. So, what about rain? Well, it did mention a wetter summer in the North, but it doesn't say which part of the North it is talking about.

While many of us enjoy getting out and about during a Montana summer, the fact that it could be riddled with smoke and fire isn't the news many Montanans or Tourists for that matter were hoping to hear.
