Show-Stopper Hopper From Missoula Humane Society Visits TMHT
While visibly nervous in new surroundings, this little guy never growled, barked or whined.
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana, sponsored by the animal-loving folks at Paul's Pancake Parlor. Janet introduced us to Hopper, a charming 8-month-old, whose feet suggested maybe some some cattle dog in his background, with the rest of the coat resembling...well, judge for yourself. In any case, he's going to be a small to medium sized dog when he reaches adulthood, estimated at about 40 - 45 pounds.
HOPPER, NOT HYPER!
This is Hopper's second stay with the Humane Society. He was adopted at 5 months, but the elderly person who adopted him just needed a more low-key dog. That's not to say Hopper is high-maintenance. He's active but not overly active. He is of average energy, and, while he'd only been back at the shelter a couple of days, Janet tells us he willingly got in the car and was very calm, quiet and attentive on the drive to the studio. Judging by his behavior, he appears to become easily attached and loyal to that person or persons who provide him with a loving home. Please keep Hopper in mind, along with the other dogs and cats waiting for adoption.
The Humane Society is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. They are located at 5930 Highway 93 South in Missoula. They have a couple of no-to-low cost vaccination clinics scheduled in March, which you can find out more about here.
Nice to meet you, Hopper. Here's wishing you a fabulous forever home!
