Glacier National Park’s Movie About 2 Grizzly Bear Attacks Debuts
Movies rock. Last year, I watched 169 movies and am outpacing that mark this year. Here's a shameless plug to follow my Letterboxd. You can follow me to read my uneducated reviews of each movie I watch.
Here are my last three reviews:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)
"I was once named Best Cameron Impersonator of the Midwest."
Taxi Driver (1976)
"Wild choices were made at the p**n theater. He bought 3 candy bars, popcorn and a soda all just to ******!?"
(Sorry, that one got a little NSFW)
This is the End (2013)
"Paul Rudd sprinting in with flowers just to die might be the funniest scene in the history of cinema."

Now, I'll have to review a new movie based on a true story set in 1960s Montana.
Grizzly Night (2026), Directed by Burke Doeren
I was made aware of a January release called Grizzly Night. It's a smaller budget movie about bloody bear attacks in Glacier National Park.
On August 12, 1967, in Montana's Glacier National Park, the unthinkable happened: that same night, nine miles apart, there were not one—but two— fatal grizzly bear attacks. - Grizzly Night's description on Letterboxd
The movie was directed by Burke Doeren, making his directorial debut. It stars Charles Esten, from the TV shows Nashville and Outer Banks, Oded Fehr from The Mummy and Resident Evil movies, and Brec Bassinger from Final Destination: Bloodlines.

I hope for everyone involved with the movie that it's good, but it's not receiving great reviews so far. It's got a 2.6 on Letterboxd, but don't let that deter you from seeing it. Let Charles Esten's enthusiasm give you reason to watch it.
The movie is available on Apple and Fandango.
