Free Vaccines and Microchips Sunday at the Humane Society
It is always unfortunate when a family has to give up a beloved pet. Here's your chance to make his next home as happy as the last one was.
MEET BOONE
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana. Jessie introduced us to Boone, a super-sweet 3-year old husky mix. Boone has been wonderful with everybody the shelter has introduced him to.
WHY HE'S THERE
Sadly, Boone's owner passed away and surviving family members were unable to keep him. The family did say that Boone would likely prefer a home without really young kids or cats, but he does love adults and other dogs. Why not go meet Boone and see if he would be a great fit in your home.

FREE VACCINE CLINIC AND MICROCHIPS THIS SUNDAY
The Humane Society of Western Montana will be hosting another of their amazingly popular free vaccine clinics and microchips for your dogs and cats on Sunday, October 25, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Annual vaccines including DA2PP for dogs and FVRCP for cats as well as rabies vaccines will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. These clinics tend to serve over 100 people in three short hours, so they are fast, but please be patient and it is suggested you get there as early as you can.

OTHER FUN EVENTS
A little puppy love, if you please! This Thursday, October 22, the Humane Society will be at Mom Approved Tattoo, 1001 South 4th Street West #6 in Missoula, with a litter of 6 puppies available for adoption. You can meet the puppies starting at 3:00 p.m. Of course, there is not a scheduled end time, since we don't know how fast the puppies will be adopted (just sayin').
And on Monday, October 26, you can support the Humane Society with your purchase of a pint. Or two. A portion of the proceeds from Pint Night at GILD Brewpub and Restaurant, 515 South Higgins Avenue on Missoula's Hip Strip, will help support the shelter.
The Humane Society of Western Montana is open Wednesdays-Sundays at 5930 Highway 93 South in Missoula. See more cats and dogs waiting for their forever homes here.
