Missoula’s One-Wheeled Daredevil Is Turning Heads Around Town
Dear One-Wheeled Missoula Daredevil,
It’s amazing seeing you around town on your electric unicycle with your full-face helmet, pads, and backpack.
Have You Seen Missoula’s One-Wheel Daredevil?
The first time I spotted you a couple of months ago, I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye and honestly couldn’t believe what I was seeing. You were traveling right along with the flow of traffic. And in Missoula, that can be pretty dangerous.

Since then, I’ve seen you several more times, but I’ve never been able to grab a photo. It always takes me by surprise when I see you, and I’m usually behind the wheel and unable to snap a picture. Not to say you're speeding or breaking the law — just that the speed you're moving at makes it hard even to process what I'm seeing.
Catching A Glimpse In A Roundabout
Leave it to a roundabout to slow things down enough for me to grab a photo — and even get a wave from you.
So, congratulations. You may very well be the biggest daredevil I’ve seen cruising around Missoula in many, many years.
Personally, motorcycles make me a little nervous, and there’s absolutely no way I’d try riding an electric unicycle in Missoula traffic. Not necessarily due to my lack of skill, but I worry about all the other drivers in Missoula. But you seem to do it fearlessly. Those things can travel up to 60 mph.

A Reminder To Share The Road In Missoula
And to everyone else on the road, just keep an eye out and give this rider a little extra space. Let’s all make sure everyone gets where they’re going safely. Safe travels to Missoula’s one-wheeled Daredevil.
Sincerely,
