Here’s What Montana Costco Members Are Saying About the Early Openings

Costco, like a lot of businesses, continues to adapt and evolve. There have been a lot of changes that have taken place over the past year. They have added card scanners at their entrances, raised the price of memberships, and expanded their hours at fuel stations and in stores.

Early Shopping Hours for Executive Members

The expanded shopping hours, opening at 9 a.m., are available only for their Executive Members. According to The Street, not everyone is enjoying the store’s expanded hours.

For some of the employees, opening an hour earlier can be difficult, especially for early morning workers. There have also been complaints about not having enough checkers to handle early morning members in larger cities. Most of these complaints have been made public on Reddit threads.

Costco has also recently added another incentive for Executive Members. Costco is offering $10 off same-day grocery delivery orders over $150.That isn’t a one-time perk either; it renews each month.

New Delivery Discount for Members

I have spoken with a couple of people who have Costco Executive Memberships, and they have had great experiences using the early morning opening time. Not only has it cut their shopping time down, but parking is never an issue.

We have found that if you shop in the evenings, or during a Griz Football home game, you will find the store not nearly as crowded as the peak hours and you may feel like you have the entire store to yourself.
