Hit and Run Suspect Appears in Court

31 year-old Aldus Paul Hart was charged Friday in Missoula justice court with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to stop at an injury accident, both misdemeanors…and felony charges of negligent vehicular assault resulting in bodily injury and criminal endangerment, after allegedly striking 30 year-old Adam Vizzo from behind while he was riding his bike, causing a broken wrist along with various cuts and bruises.

Hart did not stop and was later apprehended at the Holiday Inn Parkside, where his blood alcohol level was point 1 4 6. Bond was set at $10,000. Hart remains in the Missoula County jail.
