Some roads in the Lolo National Forest have been closed due to runoff caused by recent warm temperatures. Motorists and recreationists are advised to use caution and contact specific Ranger Districts to get current information on closures of any flooded roads and trails. I spoke with Boyd Hartwig with the Lolo National Forest Wednesday afternoon about the high water situation. That interview is attached.

Some of the trails that are closed include the River Trail along the Clark Fork in the Superior District…Fish Creek Road closed near Thompson Creek in the Ninemile District..and the walking portion of the Canoe Trail, as well as the trail to Morrell Falls in the Seeley Lake District.
