Remember back in the day when there was always a Spring Fling carnival at the Fairgrounds each May? In fact if you’re really old school you might remember the Spring Fling being held all along Higgins downtown. You may not have noticed it’s absence over the past few years, but Missoula’s children sure have.
Back by popular demand, a May carnival at the Fairgrounds!
After we get through the Memorial Day Weekend, we can look forward to not only a short work week, but 4 days of fun at the fairgrounds. Here’s what’s in store.
* Carnival, featuring several “5 Star” rides.
* Hot Air Balloon Rides, first come first served Saturday morning 7:30am-10am $10
* Battle of the Bands Friday Night
* FREE Open Skate at Glacier Ice Rink
* School Project Displays
* 4-H Exhibit
* Free picnic space available on Sunday. Might be good for graduation celebrations or family picnics for all of your out of town guests.
Plus we’ll feature our annual Spring Yard Sale on Saturday in the Mercantile Lane area from 8a to 3p. Booth size is 10’ X 20’ and booths are available for just $35.00; add additional booths for just $10.00 each. Set-up will begin at 6a that morning and continues until gates open at 8a.
With the carnival and hot air balloon rides, you’re sure to get plenty of traffic and lots of activity at your booth!
To secure your booth, you can register online via credit card (there is a small fee for registering online) or mail your payment with check or drop off your payment and pay via cash, check or credit card at Townsquare Media at 3250 S.
