HELENA, Mont. (AP) — The body of former Gov. Tim Babcock will lie in state at the Capitol Rotunda on Friday.

Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home says mourners can pay tribute to Babcock at the Capitol from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Visitation will follow at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Babcock's funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Helena First Assembly of God Church, followed by burial with military honors at Forestvale Cemetery in Helena.

Babcock, who served as governor for seven years and was involved in Republican politics for decades, died Tuesday in Helena. He was 95. He was recognized as the oldest delegate at the 2012 Republican National Convention in Florida.
