Funding Program In Danger

Potential cuts to the Pell Grant program  could affect students in 2011 with more than 9  million  students possibly  receiving  less federal funding this fall. Associate Director of Enrollment at the U of M, Terri Gruba puts the loss into perspective for Montana students.

 Last month lawmakers levied a 5.7  billion dollar cut to the Pell Grant program which  grants aid to low- and moderate-income students. The decision to fund or make cuts to the program will happen in the next week.
