Flood Waters Can Contain Microbes, So Take Precautions
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services is reminding people that flood waters commonly contain microbes that can cause illness. Care should be taken by those affected by recent flooding to prevent infection. Public information officer Jon Ebelt says anyone who is involved in clean-up after a flood should make sure their tetanus immunization is current.
