Fired Corrections Officer Appears in Court [AUDIO]
Missoula County Jail
Warren Soss was an employee at the Missoula County Detention Center for over 10 years, but was fired in November after being accused of assaulting an inmate.
On November 13th, Soss was involved in an altercation with an inmate at the jail, in which he punched the inmate in the head and body over 10 times. Missoula County Attorney Fred Van Valkenburg charged Soss with misdemeanor assault, a charge to which he pleaded no contest.
Soss was given a 6-month suspended sentence and was required to pay court costs. The inmate refused medical treatment after the incident.
