FEMA, The Federal Emergency Management Agency, is opening a Disaster Recovery Center in Missoula on Thursday. Public Information Officer Chris McKniff gives details of how FEMA can help those affected by the recent spring flooding.

McKniff says the funds are grants, not loans and do not need to be paid back. They are intended to help restore homes damaged by flood waters. McKniff outlines the requests already received from Missoula area residents.

The Disaster Recovery Center is located at the Emergency Training Building at 1220 Burlington in Missoula and will be open until August 22nd.
