One man is dead and three others were injured in an apparent two-vehicle DUI crash that occurred at about 1:30 Wednesday morning near about a mile south of Arlee on U. S. Highway 93 north.

Highway patrol trooper Paul Pfau says a man and woman traveling in a car near the Missoula-Lake county line were side-swiped by a truck driven by another woman. The truck then rolled.

The female driver of the truck was ejected and sustained non-life threatening injuries. The father was who was a passenger in the truck, was partially ejected and died at the scene. Neither were wearing their seat belt.

Alcohol, speed are being investigated as possible contributing factors to the accident. Lack of seat belt use is a factor in the fatal accident.
