Early Morning Downtown Fire

An early morning fire sent Missoula Fire Department crews to the Park Place Apartments. A fire in a first floor trash receptacle sent a great deal of smoke through the first and second floors of the building, causing most of the building’s occupants to be evacuated. Langstaff says the fire itself caused little damage, but there was a great deal of smoke damage, especially to Beautiful Weddings Bridal, located adjacent to the hotel. The fire is still under investigation.
