Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On October 1, 2025, at around 1:39 a.m., a Missoula Police Department Officer was patrolling the area on West Broadway Street near the Secret Seconds Thrift Store. The store was closed, and the business appeared vacant. The director of the store previously requested that law enforcement enforce trespassing violations on the property due to a history of high criminal activity in the area. The store also had visible signs stating, "No Loitering."

The officer observed a male, later identified as Joshua Paisley, in the area with what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage, with several other bottles of alcohol nearby. The male identified himself as Paisley. The officer was aware Paisley had a warrant for his arrest out of Missoula's Justice Court.

Then the officer arrested Paisley. During a search incident to arrest, the officer located four Ziplock-style baggies containing a white, powdery substance that the officer recognized as likely cocaine based on his training and experience. According to court documents, Paisley was Mirandized and admitted the baggies contained cocaine.

Paisley is currently being charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

On October 9, 2025, another individual was arrested for possessing drugs near the Secret Seconds Store.
