It was another busy week in the Missoula County Attorney’s Office. They filed 19 new complaints and Chief Deputy County Attorney Matt Jennings provided KGVO with their weekly crime report.

“A lot of those cases arose out of activities from last weekend,” Jennings said. “For whatever reason, it was a very busy weekend for law enforcement and the Missoula County Attorney’s Office. Some of those crimes were violent in nature. We had about seven non family violence crimes coming out of last weekend. We also had several endangerment crimes. Those usually involve alcohol or drugs and driving. We had a couple property crimes and about five new meth possession cases.”

Jennings said most offenses are related to drugs or alcohol and that is a trend that has been going on for quite a while. He encouraged Missoulians to make good choices and be safe.
