Don’t Panic; Tickets still available for Montana’s Saturday playoff game
If you're uncertain about snapping up some tickets to see the Montana Grizzlies open their FCS playoff drive this week, don't worry about not finding a few options if you go online.
That's because there are still some good seats available at Washington Grizzly Stadium for the Saturday evening game.
The Grizzlies are coming off that stinging "Brawl of the Wild" loss against Montana State in Bozeman last week. But the team is hoping to use its respectable 7-4 record as momentum for a first-round win against The Southeast Missouri Redhawks.
It's uncertain whether the outcome of that game in Bozeman or the distractions of Thanksgiving has slowed ticket sales. But there's certainly been a fairly good selection of seats on Griztix.com all week long.
A check at mid-day on Friday shows a "low" availability of seats on both the East and West sides of the stadium between the 30-yard lines. Although even in those sections, you could find groupings of from 2 to even 4 or more seats together.
The west-facing sections closer to the end zones had "medium" seat availability, with three sections on the east having a "medium" number of seats available. The "North" end zone also had "medium" seat availability, while sections 117, 115, 114, and 112 on the "South" still had a "high" number of seats open.
And there were still a lot of tickets available around the skyboxes facing east.
All tickets for the game, with an 8:00 pm kickoff, are selling for $35. Student tickets are just $5, with a $10 guest pass.
If Montana can win this weekend, they'll play a second-round game against North Dakota State in Fargo next weekend.
