A 43-year-old Dillon woman charged with shooting her husband in the neck with a rifle made an initial appearance in Justice Court. Beaverhead County Justice of the Peace Candy Hoerning advised Nichole Curr on Thursday that she is charged with attempted deliberate homicide after her husband was shot with a .22-caliber rifle on Dec. 26.

Curr is represented by a public defender. She did not enter a plea. The case is being moved to District Court. Gwen Curr is listed in serious condition at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Nichole Curr is jailed on $500,000 bond.
