A well-traveled deadbeat dad who owes nearly $117,000 in unpaid child support to his children in Idaho pleaded guilty to a felony in U.S. District Court in Boise.

Rusty D. Haile of Keens, Ill., could get up to two years in federal prison, a maximum fine of $250,000, and up to one year of supervised release when he's sentenced in February.

Haile shifted between Alaska, the Caribbean island of Burmuda and finally Georgia as he avoided his obligations to his children.

He was arrested in March after stepping foot on U.S. soil in Atlanta.

As part of the agreement finalized with his guilty plea on Monday, Haile will pay $30,000 in back child support before the date of his sentencing on Feb. 21.
