County to Open Public Records Research Center [AUDIO]
Missoula County will open the doors to a new records and training center on Monday, October 15th at 8 a.m. at 2147 Ernest Avenue.
Missoula County Records manager Makeba Barber says the training area provides much needed, affordable space for the elections department, the Sheriff’s department, and the County’s search and rescue team.
The records area will provide the public centralized access to archived county documents. The area also boasts two computer stations for the public to use to research records created and maintained by Missoula County departments.
The records management department will host an open house reception for the public, elected officials and Missoula County employees on Thursday, October 11th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided and the public and media are encouraged to attend.
