Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On April 18, 2024, a Task Force Officer applied for and was granted a search warrant for GPS location data for a phone number known to belong to 31-year-old Jessica Lundy, which was based on an on-going drug investigation. Lundy provided this phone number to law enforcement during a recent traffic stop. Additionally, a records search indicated that the phone number is registered to 30-year-old Sarah Sabrowski-Sneed, Lundy’s known romantic partner.

On April 21, 2024, the TFO found the location data began to return within the state of Montana, along Interstate 90. It traveled through the state, eventually stopping near the Kim Williams Trail in Missoula. Based on previous investigations done on Lundy, the TFO knew it was a past practice of Lundy to stay in a hotel room while distributing dangerous drugs. Task force surveillance units began searching nearby hotels for Lundy.

Surveillance units arrived at a hotel on E. Broadway St. and observed Lundy walking with Sabrowski-Sneed. Officers with the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office contacted the front desk employee to inquire about the females. They were informed that the females were staying in a room that was registered to Lundy and Sabrowski. The officers responded to the room and knocked on the door. Lundy and Sabrowski-Sneed were detained while the TFO applied for a search warrant of the room.

A Search of the Room Revealed the Following:

  • approximately 680 grams of suspected methamphetamine
  • approximately 416.2 grams of suspected fentanyl pills
  • approximately 68.7 grams suspected heroin
  • $583 in U.S. Currency
  • two cellphones
  • rolls of tinfoil
  • sandwich baggies
  • a digital scale

According to court documents, the amount of drugs equates to roughly 1.5 lbs of methamphetamine, 5,000 fentanyl pills, and 69 grams of heroin. The TFO knows from her training and experience, that these quantities of drugs exceed quantities typically possessed for personal use by a drug user, and that the quantities, as well as the presence of multiple types of drugs, indicate that the drugs were intended for distribution in the Missoula area.

Lundy and Sabrowski-Sneed are both currently being charged with three counts of felony criminal possession with intent to distribute and felony unlawful use/possession of property subject to criminal forfeiture. On April 22, 2024, Lundy made her initial appearance in Missoula Justice Court and her bond was set at $750,000.
