Missoula's bus system, the Mountain Line, will be offering free rides all day Friday, February 28, due to the expected blizzard conditions.

The free rides are expected to boost ridership even more than normally occurs during a snowstorm.

"Typically on days with lots of snow, our ridership goes up by about 20 percent," said Mountain Line spokesman Topher Williams. "People know its not safe to be out on those icy roads."

To find out more information about Mountain Line and the bus routes it serves, check out their website at mountainline.com. The website also includes a live bus tracker so you can keep tabs on where the buses are on their routes.
