Be Safe Over The Holiday Weekend….Please

In case you were unaware of the regulations … fireworks are illegal within the city limits, as well as in county parks and in forested lands throughout the state. Police Chief Mark Muir says you will be fined if you are caught.

Police Chief Muir reminds people to be safe over the holiday and encourages people not to mix drinking and fireworks

Long-established ordinances banning the use of fireworks within the city limits are in place to increase safety for all residents and to decrease personal injuries and property loss in fires.
