Balancing The State Budget

The legislative Fiscal Division and Governor Brian Schweitzer are far apart when it comes to revenue projections. Representative Champ Edmunds says the state is hemorrhaging financially.

Programs in the budget are funded at a baseline level, plus funding for inflation. Under current revenue projections the state is 360 million dollars in the red per year.
