38 year-old Chad Earl Williams is wanted by Missoula aura authorities for a probation violation after an attempted deliberate homicide conviction that occurred in 1996.

Chief Deputy County Attorney Jason Marks said a warrant has been issued for Williams' arrest.

"Mr. Williams has a pending petition to revoke in district court," Marks said. "He's had a number of violations for conditions of supervision, then on Tuesday, he failed to appear in court, so the court issued a $100,000 bench warrant."

Public Information Officer for the Missoula County Sheriff's Office, Brenda Bassett provided a description for Williams.

"Mr. Williams is a Caucasian male who stands about 5'10" tall with brown hail and hazel eyes with a medium build. He was serving the 25 year portion of his suspended sentence after being convicted of attempted deliberate homicide in 1996, and after posting bond on June 10th he failed to contact his probation officer.

Authorities say Williams is known to drive a black 1999 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Montana license plate ‎BMC553? or a silver 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with Montana license plate 3-10820B.
